A story about Nick Rhodes
I have met Nick Rhodes a couple of times. The first time that I met him, he was on his way out of a restraunt in Georgia after the concert. I wasn’t going to bother him, but my friend stopped him and he was kind enough to give us a few minutes of his time. I had given him a portrait of himself at the Orlando show (2006) It was for his birthday, and I also gave him a present of a “Mars Attacks” ray gun and a Yoshitaka Amano art book (one of my favourite artists). He said I was sweet and that he LOVED the gifts! I was too star struck to manage to have a conversation with him, I basically just sort of said thank you and walked away from him…
The second time I saw him, was after the Duran Duran show in St. Louis, he was the only one to come out and sign autographs, and he signed my copy of his photograph book (interference). I asked him if he likes the paintings (I also did one and gave it to him at the Atlantic City show a few months before). He said yes, and once again I was in a daze, said thanks and walked away. He must think I am daft or something! But he was extremely polite and nice. Thank you Nick!
Why I admire David Tennant
He’s a fabulous actor, I love Dr. Who, Casanova and Blackpool (The list could go on!). Of corse he’s attractive…but he also seems like he’d be interesting and a very nice person. Good taste in music as well!
Why I admire John Cusack
He’s an incredible actor, and he seems like he’d be very down to Earth! He also has great taste in music!
